The Anti-Phospholipid Antibody IgM test measures the presence of IgM antibodies that target phospholipids or phospholipid-binding proteins in the blood. These antibodies are part of a group known as antiphospholipid antibodies, which are linked to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). This autoimmune condition increases the risk of blood clots in arteries and veins.
