MRI KUB Retroperitoneal Case:

A 62-year-old female presented with Persistent Left Flank Pain for two months. Initial clinical evaluation suggested a possible renal mass.

A Digital Contrast-Enhanced MRI KUB was performed at Scan4Health, using high-resolution dynamic imaging sequences.
On evaluation, the scan revealed a large retroperitoneal trans-spatial multiloculated multicystic lesion, measuring approximately 26 x 14 x 13 cm, occupying the left abdominopelvic region.

The lesion had smooth septal enhancement, no diffusion restriction, and was seen causing mass effect over adjacent structures, including the left kidney, spleen, and pancreas, without signs of invasion.

Further analysis pointed toward a Retroperitoneal Lymphatic Malformation, a rare benign condition that can clinically mimic more sinister pathologies.
